A Mother's Child

A mother's child is every breath that she takes, walking hand in hand, they are every step that she makes. And as their steps will grow to strides, still a child, in mother's eyes. Every ache and pain they shall feel, mother will share and with love she will kneel. She will pray to God to take care of her child, to protect and guide them through every mile. Her child is the very core of her soul, from baby in arms to an adult they will grow. For to a mother, her child will stay, the precious infant she held that day.

"It's a little bit of heaven here on earth"-- this is Boracay.

It's my fourth time visiting the place yet, it never fails to thrill me with her beauty, warm people, the food, and not to mention--the party & night clubs... ㋡ (ahhmm...i ain't no party goer, ONLY in bora :D )

Anyway, me and my travel buddies have chosen Boracay to be the official summer destination for 2011. we're too excited for the sweet escapade since we've been wanting to have a lofty vacay that's perfect for the pictorial. we are photographers by nature (✓) and we are so passionate with our expensive hobby ( paak!) --expensive in a way that we have to be equipped with the best DSLR cams and we have to spend for the travel itself. haha :P kidding aside, the purpose of the trip was to have a weekend get-a-way and just enjoy the sands of bora.

    So the planning was done. it was Final that we just have to take the looooongest way to bora--LANDTRIP! though hagardo versoza we were, we reached ilo-ilo an hour after 12nn on April 15,2011. checked in at HIGH-WAY 21, rested, photoshoot, ate dinner, shower, coffee @ coffeebreak.

arrived ILO-ILO CITY April 15, 2011...

APRIL 16, 2011 hello BORACAY...

...and this is what we came here for. our ♥ for photography. this is the PHOTOGRAPHERs view... :))

then we stayed at Shenna's resort. 5 minutes walk away from D' MALL and EPIC. so convenient and comfy and cheap. For the price of P3500/night, we got the room for 4pax + unlimited use of wi-fi free of charge. that's why we spent our whole morning inside our cage facebooking and twitting. we were bogged down because of this social network addiction...geeez!㋛and speaking of four pax, someone's MIA...

meet APRIL. my college/FH/YM/FB/EPIC buddy...SOSyal this girl because she flew from manila to caticlan via PAL. oh well, airline owner eh? lolz...

anyway, the group was now completed and so the party began.

and the food were all mouth-watering, finger lickin' good, sarap to the bones, yummy, lip-smacking, etc... and we went home bloated.chaka! haha but all worth it.

and who would ever forget the clubbin' nights?... not me for sure since i met Dear John on that same night we arrived. ***sigh :(  i didn't get his last name and number though. he got lost. (actually we got lost... when i saw him again, he had these bottles of beer with him, which i ordered by the way, but i was too shy to come closer so here comes the POKEMON, grabbed him and BOOOM...! they disappeared. poor me ㋛ ) nonetheless, thanks BIG TIME for the small talk we had. nice meeting your cute and charming tot.

EPIC that was... the best BORACAY experience i ever had! woot-woot!!!!....

so we all had the time of our lives in this beautiful place called Boracay. the stay was a bit short, yet we certainly enjoyed the days. credits to my fellow bloggers-- GRETCH< NAYZ<APYANG for the good memories i had with you on this adventure. till our next escapade...

how sweet it is to be LOVED by you...

the moment i knew i was conceiving,

excitement filled my life and 

I couldn't contain my happiness, it was a pure bliss!

day by day i prayed,

"Lord, help me to become strong for my little one.

Guide me in all that I do that I may become a good mother."

thanksgiving and praise i offered to the Lord,

you are the grandest gift God has ever given to me.

the life of my offspring, my own blood and flesh,

all was a blessing in such a perfect timing.

then you started kicking and moving,

heartbeat i could hear,

each day felt like a fun ride in a rollercoaster,

i had that jittery, fluttery feeling,

yet it was all fun and worth it 

knowing that we were riding together.

and finally, the anticipated moment came, the fruit of my labor.
i saw you for the first time, like an angel sent from above, 
you were crying, restless, and was seeking for comfort.
and then I carried you in my arms,
"hush, hush now my baby. mommy is here"
then you moved your head up,
hearing mommy's voice made you feel secured.


years have passed, you're growing up.
the bond between us grows stronger with each passing day.
you become my consoler and my best friend, 
i become your best buddy at home and your caring playmate.
we have shared a lot of up and down moments,
together we braved the challenge.
HOW SWEET IT IS TO BE LOVED BY YOU...


son, 
you just don't know how thankful I am that you are here with me,
for you i'll do the best I can.
to be your good provider, your chum, your MOTHER.
i love you...

when LIFE gets BEACHY

loving the beach life ♥♥♥

             BEACH is one of my best-loved destinations. may it be dry or rainy season. :) there’s that connection between me and the sea... it’s just inexplicable.  it's like the water is calling me. < well, this sounds scary  hearing the water talks...lol>   or was i a mermaid in a past life??? that i'm not sure of  :)) 

anyway, i conclude that i'm just head over heels in love with BEACHES.  i always imagine myself on a grand vacation--basking under the Carribean or Fiji sun with my sunnies on, walking in a sandy, white beach, eating a delish cuisine, swimming in a cool, blue green water... (and not to mention, my dream wedding is also a BEACH WEDDING. i love it quiet and peaceful... and Romantic!)... oh c'mon, how i love to build castles in the air :)  

not too much for a dreamy person like me... haha!

                  Well, SUMMER is coming.  and speaking of Beaches, i should be visiting a place where i can get load off my feet and enjoy the summer breeze.

it's actually a yearly event for me.  Summer is something that i should not MISS!

if budget and time do not permit, well at least, i have to spend it somewhere cheapo and accessible.

that's me and that's how i love being stranded on a beach land...lol
